Building and history

Herresshof Caribbean 50 fiberglass long-keeled ketch with a rotating centerboard, built by the Shepang GFK Herreshoff shipyard in 1978 according to designs by the famous architect Natanael Herreshoff.
Built in 10 units, this yacht is designed for both offshore and coastal sailing, thanks to its shallow draft. Reassuring with its central cockpit where all controls are centralized.
All interior woodwork is Burmese teak. The deck is teak.
The boat had a refit in 2018: paint, varnish, electricity, portholes, upholstery, etc....
To date, she has been regularly maintained and is ready to sail.
All safety, diving, galley and tooling equipment is still on board, as are numerous spare parts.
